The 'Ready to Roll' Roller

Chassis Jig-built from 6082-T6 and 6063-T6 aircraft construction grade aluminium alloys, web-gusseted pocket option demo joints, TIG-welded,  solution heat-treated (certificated).  Chemically treated, powder coated with a colour and clear lacquer combination.  Ten standard RAL colours available - others available. (See Appendix page). Three-part, separable main frame.  
Configuration 'Tadpole' - Two steered wheels at the front, one driven wheel at the back

Computer VDO C010, pickup on the left wheel, display pocket option review mounted on a bracket on the left kingpin assembly.
Crankset TA Carmina, 165mm standard - other lengths (155 - 185mm) are available.  Fitted with TA integral self-extractor bolts.
Gear mechanisms Rear - SRAM X-7 long-cage rear derailleur and DualDrive three speed hub. Front - Campagnolo  Centaur triple (2008)
Gear shifters Rear - SRAM DualDrive, dual mode (Twist grip for the derailleur with integral 3 position thumb lever for the hub gears) -  normally mounted on the right handlebar. Front - SRAM Twist grip (2008).
Hubs, front Sturmey-Archer, aluminium alloy, with integral brake drum.
Hub, rear SRAM DualDrive with 3 speed internal gears (ratios - 0.734, 1.000, 1.362) and 9 speed derailleur cassette.
Inner tubes Vredestein Compact 20, 60mm Presta valve
Lights Battery operated B & M Ixon LED front lamp (2008) and rack mounted Toplight senso LED rear lamp with combined reflector. The front lamp will run on high beam for a minimum of 8 hours using 4 standard AA cells (NiMh cells which can charged in situ  are also available). The rear light runs for a minimum 60 hours on two AA batteries and has an automatic safety switch-on position.
Mast & pennant 1.4 metre long, 6mm diameter, glassfibre mast with high visibility pennant - mounted on the rack.
Mirrors/Bell Two, Zefal 47 left and right hand - mounted on padded bar-end hand rests for minimum vibration.  A small bell is also fitted, usually on the right.
Mudguards SPP chromoplastic, silver, with mud flaps, on all three wheels.  
Pannier rack Specially designed for Ortlieb QL2 pannier bags although QL1 ones can be adapted and most other makes pocketoption review of bag will fit.  There are two pennant mast mountings and an integral recessed rear lamp bracket.
Parking brake SRAM/Avid 'Single Digit' linear (V) brake on rear wheel, operated by SRAM twist grip, normally mounted on the left handlebar.
Pedals Time Atac XS adjustable (2008) - shoe cleats are included.
Rims Front and rear -  Alesa X-Plorer 406 (20"), 36 hole, silver anodised
Roadside repair kit Topeak 'Hexus' multi-tool, Teng 150mm/6 ins. adjustable spanner, puncture repair kit, tyre levers, tweezers, gloves, 'Wet-Wipes', etc. -  all in a custom tool pouch.  Two spare inner tubes. Topeak Turbo Morph pump, with gauge.
Security Datatag ID system fitted.
Spokes Sapim Leader, stainless steel, 2mm plain gauge. 
Trailer Hitch Fittings are supplied for attaching a BOB trailer.
Tyres Vredestein 'Perfect Moiree' (35-406) with sidewall reflective stripes
Workshop tools A specially designed measuring/setting-up tool for the front wheel 'toe-in' and a TA bottom bracket ring spanner are supplied.

Seat Made from extremely durable 100% polyester mesh material, colour black, supported & tensioned by 26 webbing loops & 4 separate, colour-coded, bungee cords - 10 metres (33 ft) total length.  Overall width 440mm (17¼"). 
The seatback hinge has three positions, 40mm (1½") apart. With the hinge in the middle position, the seatback angle is easily and quickly adjustable from 28º to over 45º from the horizontal.  With the hinge in the forward position the seat back can be reclined to a low 23º. The seat base is tilted back 7.5º.  Padded armrests allow fingertip steering.
The waterproof padded neck/headrests and lumbar cushion are adjustable and attached with Velcro fixings. The headrest cushion incorporates a useful map pocket.  Another large pocket with easy access whilst on the move is provided behind the headrest for items such as gloves, sun-glasses, etc.  The pocket flap has two wide bands of reflective material.
Seated height Approx. 220mm (8½") - depending on seat bungee tension.  Can be raised 80mm (3¼") if required - brackets and fixings are available at extra cost.
Ground clearance 92mm (3½") with 37-406 tyres
Overall height 855mm (33¾") with seatback @ 30º, 615mm (24¼") with seatback folded forward.
Weight Approx. 16.75kg (37 lbs) - DualDrive version with rack, mudguards and full cushion set.
Bottom bracket height  Approx. 320mm (12¾") - with boom extended 100mm (4")
Steering Ackerman.  Angular steering ratio is adjustable - 0.73, 0.89 or 1.07 to 1.00.  Handlebars are adjustable for width and forward rake.  Both track rods, made from black, shock-absorbing Nylon 66, are fitted with right- and left-threaded rod end bearings for easy, accurate toe-in set up.
