News 1 October 2006 - An electric SRAM Sparc pedal-assist version of the Roller has now been delivered. Initial tests indicate that it is of considerable benefit to those riders who require or desire some assistance for general use, particularly on hills or against the wind.
This picture shows the SRAM Sparc hub fitted to a Roller. The large hub accommodates a P5 five-speed hub, two 100w electric motors and their electronics. The rear derailleur is used as a chain tensioner for the triple chainrings, giving fifteen gears.
16 March 2006 - Machines ordered after March 1st 2006 will have a custom version of the excellent Scottoiler chain lubrication system fitted as standard. A retrofit kit for all existing Rollers is also available.
